WW Associates is providing water consultative services to Caroline County to provide a new water treatment facility for the Carmel Church area.  These services include preparation of a PER, design, and construction phase services.  Carmel Church Water Treatment Facility has been designed to provide public drinking water to the community of Carmel Church in Caroline County.  This area includes the I-95 interchange, motels, commercial establishments, and residential areas.  The treatment facility is rated for 600 gpm will receive raw water from a series of wells.  The treatment scheme includes:

• 6 – 100 gpm greensand filters
• Chemical Feed facilities, including potassium permanganate, sodium hypochlorite, corrosion inhibitor, and soda ash for alkalinity control
• 750 gpm finished water pump station
• Backwash water holding tank and washwater pump station
• 1500 s.f. water treatment building
• SCADA integration
